Earlier we reported that some Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders require re-issuance of OCI Card under Indian Law.Earlier we reported that certain Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders were required to re-issue their OCI cards under Indian law.

A press release on the Indian Government’s Ministry of External Affairs website indicates that this requirement has been temporarily relaxed until June 30, 2020. OCI card holders generally requiring reissuance of the OCI card on account of obtaining a new passport after crossing the age of 20 or 50 respectively, may use their existing OCI card along with both the old and new passports until June 30, 2020 if the OCI holder is unable to apply and obtain the new OCI card reissuance.
