The new facility at BKC will house the offices of Department of State, the Foreign Commercial Service, the US Food and Drug Administration, the Foreign Agricultural Service, and the Consul General’s residence. Once operational, the number of interview counters for Immigrant and Non-immigrant visas will significantly increase from 13 to 44. It is also understood from this news brief that the American Center at New Marina Lines near Churchgate is already closed and will open after the Consular services are operational.
