We had earlier reported that the U.S. Department of State is set to increase the visa fees for certain non-immigrant visas from May 30, 2023. However, a recent update on the U.S. Embassy, India’s website indicates that the effective date of the fee increase would be June 17, 2023. This update can be found here. It is noteworthy that the DOS website still reflects the effective date as May 30, 2023. Applicants should login to the portal and download the latest fee instructions prior to payment of the fees.
