CHANGE IN PROCEDURE IN P3 VISA BOOKING APPOINTMENTS FOR ARTISTS AND ENTERTAINERS AT NEW

The U.S. Embassy, New Delhi in a press release dated October 11, 2007
announced procedural changes for P3 visa bookings for artists and entertainers at New Delhi.
With immediate effect Consular Section has advised all applicants requiring P3 visa appointments at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi to send an appointment request via email to
nivnd@state.gov with the subject line “P3 scheduling requested”. This request should contain information from I-797 approval notice.
This update clarifies that requests for group P3 appointments will be handled within two business days from receipt of request. The U.S. Embassy will provide a group access code to the VFS online scheduling service,
("www.vfs-usa.co.in") so that all members may complete application forms DS-156 and DS-157 online. Separate scheduling of interview is not required and details of interview will be communicated by the U.S. Embassy along with "group access code".
The above procedure applies only to P3 applicants. P1 or P2 applicants should schedule their appointments online at
"www.vfs-usa.co.in" .
The update clarifies that the new procedure will help scheduling a single time slot for entire group. This
